In February 2024, Ontario’s Ministry of Education released a standardized and pre-populated Student Achievement Plan framework, to support the development and reporting of school board data and action plans related to student achievement. In alignment with the Education Act (Subsection 169.1(4)), school boards are required to use the new Student Achievement Plan Public Reporting Template to publicly report on the progress made with respect to provincially established student achievement priorities.
The Public Reporting Template includes sections to document how the board performs as well as actions being taken to improve achievement outcomes. The Public Reporting Template will be posted on the SCDSB website annually each spring.
