Starting Grade 9 next year? Discover your future SCDSB high school at an upcoming information night

High schools in the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) are hosting information nights for Grade 8 students and their parents/guardians. These events support the transition to high school, provide information on course options, extracurricular activities, sports, clubs, and more. Students and their families will have the opportunity to meet department representatives, tour the unique spaces within our school facilities, and connect with student leaders.

SCDSB schools offer a wide range of programs and courses to support student’s individual needs and interests, including 10 technological education programs. Take an early look inside our technological education spaces, featuring industry-standard equipment, through an interactive online tour, and browse program and course options on the SCDSB website.

Students entering Grade 9 in the 2024-25 school year and their parents/guardians are invited to attend the in-person information night at their local high school. Visit the SCDSB website to find the details for your school’s information night.

This initiative links directly to the SCDSB Strategic Priorities in the areas of Community and Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
