This update provides highlights of the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) Special Board Meeting held Wednesday, November 10, 2021. This meeting was scheduled to approve the 2020-2021 financial statements.

B-1-a Audit Committee - November 1, 2021
The Board approved the following motions:

1. That the Board approve the audited financial statements for the year ended August 31, 2021, as set out in APPENDIX B of Report No. AUD-D-1, Audited 2020-2021 Financial Statements, dated November 1, 2021.
   
2. That the Board approve the Proposed Regional Internal Audit Plan 2021-2022, as set out in APPENDIX A of Report No. AUD-D-2, Internal Audit Update, dated November 1, 2021.
3. That the Board approve the Regional Internal Audit Mandate, as set out in APPENDIX C of Report No. AUD-D-2, Internal Audit Update, dated November 1, 2021.
4. That the Board approve the Annual Audit Committee Report: Year End August 31, 2021, as set out in Report No. AUD-D-3, Annual Audit Committee Report: Year End August 31, 2021, dated November 1, 2021.
