Hello Kindergarten families!
It's almost summertime and we're getting excited to meet you in September! School is a fun place to learn and grow. Your educators and new friends can't wait to welcome you. We have a few things we would love to share with you while you wait to join us in person.
At school, we are busy playing and learning all day, so we need to make sure that we have lots of energy. How do we get energy? Through the foods we eat. Check out this video for ideas of what to pack in your child's lunch to ensure they have enough food to keep them energized throughout the school day.
Here are some more ways you can help your future Simcoe County District School Board student get ready for school:
- Talk about what your child likes to eat and would like to include in their lunch.
- Pack lunches together to eat at home and help them practice opening and closing containers.
- Walk together to your child's future school and have a picnic
- Enjoy these activities: Let's Go Shopping, Fun in the Kitchen, What's for Lunch.
