Navigating a successful outcome in school is no accident. The pathway leading to individual student success requires planning and sustained attention.
The SCDSB Student Success Core Team is committed to supporting all SCDSB schools as they work to provide every student with an equitable opportunity to succeed in school.
Within each Family of Schools a Student Success Team is committed to each student's success – taking into consideration their needs, interests and abilities. The team's goal is that each student has an opportunity to transition through the school system with the support they need to feel successful.
With Ministry support, the SCDSB continues to build on many innovative programs that allow students to customize their school experience around learning that is relevant to them. These include a robust transitions focus, and client-focused programming like Specialist High Skills Majors, Dual Credits, and Expanded Co-op and Experiential Education programs.
