Conference 2011
The 3rd Annual Circle of Learning Conference for Parents was held on
Saturday, April 9, 2011
at the SCDSB Education Centre, 1170 Highway 26, Midhurst, ON.
The Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) of the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) welcomed over 100 parents and guardians to the third annual parent conference Circle of Learning: Linking Parents to Student Success on Saturday, April 9, 2011. A variety of workshops and guest speakers were presented to support parent involvement in education and the keynote presentation was made by educator and author Tom Hierck. This event is funded through the Ministry of Education's base grants for Parent Engagement.
