There are a range of ways that parents/guardians can be involved in the school system. One of the ways to ensure that you have a say is to participate in our consultations and surveys. Your input will help us with decision making.
When surveys are active, a link will be added to this page. They are promoted through schools, social media and through news releases to media. Parents can help us by sharing survey opportunities through their own social media.
Annual School Climate Survey
The School Climate Survey helps us evaluate how caring, safe and connected students, parents and staff feel their
school is and plan for improvement.
The 2017 parent survey is for parents of elementary students only. We're asking about the overall tone of our schools, feeling of safety, student well-being, equity and inclusion.
The survey is open from January 9 to 27.
School Year Calendar Feedback
Every winter we share a draft school year calendar for the following year and ask for input on the final calendar.
Annual School and Board Communications Survey
Each spring the Communications Department conducts a survey to evaluate board and school communications to students, parents and the community. The results of this survey help the department identify areas in need of improvement and plan for the future.
